We worked with creative agency Sabotage PKG to create a bespoke WordPress theme for the restaurant chain Canteen.
Canteen’s branding and restaurants are modern minimalist while their food is Traditional British. To reflect this, we created a clean single page layout where that gives prominence to their gorgeous imagery.
Recent UX research suggests condensing a website down to fewer, but longer pages makes touch navigation significantly easier. To further aid navigation we include a fixed header with smooth scrolling nav links to anchor points down the page.
The website is responsive using media queries to detect smaller browser viewports such as smart phones and adjust the layout and navigation accordingly.
