On 10 October, Didgeroo was asked to attend a round-table discussion with HRH Prince Andrew, The Duke of York. (more photos here)
The discussion was part of the TechCity UK initiative.
Prince Andrew wanted to know what he could personally do to assist companies like Didgeroo. I made the suggestion that it would be helpful if tech starts-ups could somehow tap into the wealth of knowledge that The City Of London, just a 1/4 mile down the road. His Royal Highness told us that he had many friends in The City so he would ask them and us over to his place for a get-together.
So on 20 October, Didgeroo went to Buckingham Palace!
It was a wonderful evening, and an excellent opportunity to meet some very important people. It was also great to see some friends and colleagues from the Silicon Roundabout area in attendance.
